BNTU delegates participate in the events of the 11th annual EURIE 2026 Eurasian Higher Education Summit

10 April 2026

The delegation of BNTU, consisting of the Head of the Department of Belarusian and Russian Languages of the Faculty of Modern Studies, I.V. Budko, and the Head of the Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens of the Faculty of Modern Studies, N.A. Kondereshko, will participate in the events of the 11th annual EURIE 2026 Eurasian Higher Education Summit (Istanbul, Turkey) from April 6 to 9, 2026. This summit is the leading international event in the field of education in the Eurasian region. The summit program is devoted to current issues of the internationalization of higher education and key topics in higher education management.

EURIE brings together universities from the Eurasian region with universities and stakeholders in higher education from around the world and offers effective opportunities to establish cooperation in international education, to exchange ideas, experience and best practices in the internationalization of higher education, to discuss the challenges facing higher education today, to examine new trends and to seek innovative solutions. Participants in the summit include senior higher-education leaders, program coordinators, university international marketing officers, overseas education consultants and representatives of government agencies.

On April 8, a meeting was held with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Turkey, during which the parties discussed key areas of cooperation in the field of education.

Before the official opening, summit participants visited Istanbul Aydin University to learn more about it. Founded in 2003, the university’s research activities are based on modern technologies. The campus houses the country’s largest technocenter, which contains 12 laboratories in mechatronics, mechanics, food industry, chemistry, physics, modular electronics, textiles, microscopy, genetics and automotive engineering. The university seeks to expand and develop international ties by welcoming international students, organizing mobility programs and cooperating with educational institutions worldwide.
