An echo that unites: the final of the annual Chinese-Belarusian Echo competition among listeners took place at the Confucius Institute of Belarusian State University of Physical Culture and Sport
On February 8, 2026, the final round of the annual Chinese-Belarusian Echo competition, timed to coincide with the Chinese New Year, was held at the Confucius Institute of Belarusian State University of Physical Culture and Sport (BSUPhK).
Over 70 talented participants immersed us in a world of poetry and magic. The finalists had to recite poems in front of a panel of judges, who assessed their expressiveness, pronunciation, and delivery. The beauty of the Belarusian, Russian, and Chinese languages intertwined in their lines.
The "Chinese-Belarusian Echo" competition is much more than a competition. It is a bridge between two great cultures, a dialogue in which poetry becomes a universal language of friendship and understanding.
The winners and runners-up received well-deserved valuable prizes and gifts. But the main reward for everyone was inspiration, new discoveries, and a piece of the heart of another culture!
Our partners, students of the International Institute of Business and Entrepreneurship, as well as students of the State Educational Institutions "Gymnasium No. 16 of Minsk", "Gymnasium No. 24 of Minsk" and "Gymnasium No. 36 of Minsk" took part in the competition.
