Graduation of foreign masters at the Faculty of Biology and Ecology of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno
Master's degrees were awarded to 18 foreign citizens from Iraq who completed their second stage of higher education at Kupala University.
All graduates are Iraqi citizens who were awarded diplomas in biochemistry and biology as a result of successful defense of master's theses. The defence was held at the Department of Biochemistry as part of the State Examination Commission chaired by Elena Sutko, a leading researcher at the Institute of Biochemistry of Biologically Active Compounds of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and Candidate of Biological Sciences.
The graduation of foreign masters, which took place at the Faculty of Biology and Ecology of the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno on 19 November, was the largest in terms of number. In total, over the past few years, more than 40 Iraqi citizens who were studying at the second stage of higher education at Kupala University have obtained master's degrees. Currently, 25 more foreign citizens are studying at the Faculty of Biology and Ecology at Kupala University.
