The education institution “Belarusian State University of Foreign Languages” (BSUFL) is a leader in the field of language education in the Republic of Belarus and training of teachers of foreign languages, specialists in intercultural communication, translators and interpreters, pedagogues, psychologists and methodologists in the field of foreign languages, linguists.
Currently, BSUFL provides an opportunity to learn 25 foreign languages when studying in the general and advanced higher education programs (Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees), at optional and training courses.
University students acquire the following qualifications within the general higher education programs (Bachelor’s degree) :

BSUFL has highly qualified teaching staff who use updated efficient teaching methods in the educational process (multimedia tools, heuristic teaching method, adaptive learning, integrative approach to learning, personality-based learning).
BSUFL has a modern material and technical framework: 5 academic buildings, a modern library, sports facilities and 4 comfortable dormitories. Students use modern equipment for learning foreign languages, including simultaneous interpreting booths and classrooms, phonetics laboratories, the Laboratory of Russian as a Foreign Language, the Laboratory of Computer-Assisted Translation, the Laboratory of Digital Learning Technologies, multifunctional training classrooms.
BSUFL is a member of various international organizations, including the United Nations MoU Network of Universities, the Belarus-China Association of Universities, the Eurasian Association of University Trade Unions, the Consortium of Linguistic Universities of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, the Consortium of Brazil-Belarus-Russia Universities, the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (MAPRYAL), the International Association of Translators of the CIS Member States, the Global Alliance of Foreign Studies Universities (GAFSU) as well as the UNESCO, the UNHCR, etc.
BSUFL successfully cooperates with many universities and institutes in the People’s Republic of China, the Russian Federation, the CIS countries, Indonesia, Vietnam, Zimbabwe, India, the Republic of Cuba, Pakistan, Turkey and other countries.
