Current problems of firearms training for employees of the internal affairs bodies

The Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part in the international round table "Current problems of firearms training for employees of the internal affairs bodies". The event’s host is the Ural Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and it began on April 27 (online). The representatives of the scientific and pedagogical staff of educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, employees of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia took part in the event. During the event, the speakers widely covered topical issues of organizing and conducting firearms training classes, as well as the formation of initial shooting skills from a Makarov pistol. The forum participants discussed the problems of psychological preparation in shooting training, the prospects for the development of small arms for law enforcement agencies, factors affecting the psychology of a shooter, etc.
The head of the department of tactical and special training, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor Ermolovich D.V. shared his vision of modern ways for improving fire training with foreign colleagues.
Summing up the results of the event, the organizers of the round table noted the relevance and practical significance of scientific reports for the further development of the methodology of teaching firearms training in the law enforcement system.
