A delegation from the Ministry of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture of the Republic of Zimbabwe visited BSUPC
On May 6, 2026, a meeting was held at the Belarusian State University of Physical Education between a delegation of the Ministry of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture of the Republic of Zimbabwe and the Minister of Sport of the Republic of Belarus, Sergei Mikhailovich Kovalchuk.
During the visit, the guests were introduced to the university's facilities and sports infrastructure. Rector Sergey Borisovich Repkin presented the delegation with the university's main activities, discussed the university's training opportunities for specialists in physical education and sports, and outlined prospects for international cooperation. During the tour, the delegation also visited the testing site of the "Intelligent Technologies in Sports" research and education cluster, where Vice Rector for Research Tatyana Anatolyevna Morozevich-Shilyuk discussed the cluster's research activities and its practical significance for the development of the sports industry.
Following the tour, an official signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation in Sports took place. The signed document marked an important step in the development of bilateral relations and opened up additional opportunities for expanding partnerships, implementing joint projects, and sharing experiences between relevant organizations in the two countries.
The meeting took place in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere. The parties noted the high level of organization of the event and expressed interest in further strengthening cooperation and confidence that the agreements reached will contribute to the development of long-term and mutually beneficial ties between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Zimbabwe.
