The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus Alok Ranjan Jha visited BSU

The Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus Alok Ranjan Jha visited BSU and met with Chancellor Andrey Korol.
The ambassador paid a visit to the main university of the country due to the development of economic and cultural ties with the university. This was the key issue during the bilateral dialogue. The parties noted the prospects for cooperation at the level of training students from India, establishing educational and scientific contacts. Currently students from India are learning at Economics faculty and School of Business of BSU. The Indian Language Center operates at the Faculty of International Relations, master students of the specialty "Oriental Studies" study the Hindi language. In the field of science, scientists from the Faculty of Physics of BSU and Sri Venkateshara University completed a joint project "In2S3/Sn(S,Se) thin-film heterojunctions for photovoltaic applications".
One of the aims of the visit was to assess the work of Indian culture cabinet, which was opened at the Faculty of Social and Cultural communications in July 2020.
