Days of Belarusian Education in Kazakhstan

On June 14-16, 2023, Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan) hosts Days of Belarusian Education. Siarhei Shetska, Vice-rector for Research represents Belarusian State Technological University at the event. The agenda covers round tables and negotiations with leading Kazakh universities, discussions of interuniversity cooperation, double degree programs, professional development courses for teaching staff members and industry professionals of Kazakhstan.
The delegation of Belarusian universities paid a visit to L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and its Belarusian-Kazakh Research Cooperation Centre. At the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan the delegation members discussed collaboration opportunities with the representatives of the Ministry of Education of Kazakhstan. The discussion covered a wide scope of issues such as academic mobility, internships of MSc and PhD students, teachers and staff, summer schools and training courses. Siarhei Shetska, BSTU Vice-rector for Research gave a comprehensive presentation of the educational programs and research developments of the University and outlined the most promising areas of cooperation with Kazakh partners.
On June 15-16, exposition ‘Education in Belarus’ will be held for prospective students who would like to apply to Belarusian universities. The potential applicants will be able to get familiar with educational programs of BSTU, accommodation and living conditions in Belarus.
