From May 19 to May 26, a working visit of a delegation of 5 institutions of higher education of the Republic of Belarus to the People's Republic of China takes place. These institutions are Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, Brest State Technical University, Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin, Francisk Skorina Gomel State University, Euphrosyne of Polotsk State University.
As part of the delegation of VSU named after P.M. Masherov the event is attended by the rector of the university Bogatyreva Valentina Vasilyevna and the head of the department of international relations Salakhova Yulia Shamilyevna.
During the visit, it is planned to attend six educational institutions of China (in the cities of Chengdu, Ziyang, Guiyang, Nanjing, Beijing). Representatives of Belarusian HEIs hold meetings with the leadership and students of Chinese colleges and universities and present the education system of the Republic of Belarus as a whole.
The main purpose of the visit is to discuss the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in the educational and research fields of universities and colleges of both countries.
