This week the BSEU delegation is paying a working visit to the People's Republic of China. The first destination is Langfang City, Hubei Province.
The delegation included Rector Alexei EGOROV, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Olga MOROZEVICH, Head of the Department of Belarusian and Russian Languages Olga GUBSKAYA. Immediately upon arrival in Langfang from Beijing airport, the representatives of BSEU began an extensive program of events:
• visiting Langfang High School;
• discussion of a joint program of preparatory education and bachelor's degree programs of BSEU for the education of graduates of Langfang High School;
• signing of the Cooperation Agreement;
• opening of the BSEU Linguistic Center in China.
In order to further promote educational cooperation, negotiations were held with the Department of Education of Langfang City. The BSEU delegation met with Li Hongjiang, Secretary of the Education Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Group of the Municipal Education Bureau, and Xu Hongwei, Director of the Municipal Education Bureau. Both sides have focused on establishing a long-term cooperation mechanism, and have reached a preliminary intention to cooperate in areas such as the exchange of educational resources. The priority is the qualitative development of education and the creation of an effective model of cooperation between partners in the field of education.
