Students of the Medical Faculty for International Students have become winners in the International Interuniversity Student Contest

Students of the Medical Faculty for International Students have become winners in the International Interuniversity Student Contest “This Victory Day!” in Russian as a Foreign Language, held by Kursk State Medical University.

International students from the Universities of Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Belarus took part in this Student Contest. They represented not only these countries, but also their native ones – Palestine, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, India, Sri Lanka.

The Universities participating in the Student Contest were:

Kursk State Medical University;

Belarusian State Medical University;

Grodno State Medical University;

Orenburg State Medical University;

Academic Lyceum №2 of Urgench State University named after Al Horezmi;

Tajik State Medical University named after Abu Ali Ibn Sino 

The first round (qualifying) was conducted by the teachers of the Departments of the participating Universities and included writing an essay on the topic “What I Know about Victory Day”. The number of the first round participants was more than 100 people.

The participation in the second round of the Student Contest involved the preparation of a video clip on the topic “The Feat of the People in the Hearts of Generations”. The clips were made as a monologue-story, a dialogue, an interview in Russian about the feat of war heroes – a doctor, a nurse, a commander, a soldier, etc. Any creative, original form was welcomed.

The participants were divided into two sections:

Section №1 – English-speaking students;

Section №2 – Russian-speaking students.

Our students honorably represented the University
