Criminal Law as a Cultural Phenomenon

The Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took part in the All-Russian round table with international participation on the topic "Criminal Law as a Cultural Phenomenon". The event was organized by the South Russian Institute of Management of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation and was held in a mixed (in-person and online) format. The conference was attended by leading scientists in the field of criminal law, cultural studies, general theory of law, criminology, criminalistics, branch legal disciplines of leading educational institutions and scientific institutions of Russia and neighboring countries. They discussed the development of modern criminal law in the context of culture, the formation of criminal law doctrine in various legal orders, the phenomenon of postmodern culture and its impact on the formation of public danger and other topical issues of modern criminal law science.
Doctoral student of the scientific and pedagogical faculty of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor Pavlov V.I. made a presentation "The Phenomenon of Human Criminal Responsibility in the Conditions of Modern Culture: An Anthropological and Legal View".
