Verdi's Masterpieces Performed at Loshitsa Estate Museum
On May 23, the Loshitsa Estate Museum, a branch of the Museum of the History of Minsk, hosted a concert titled "King of Opera. A Tribute to Giuseppe Verdi." The event took place as part of the ongoing creative project "Musical Salon at the Loshitsa Estate."
Students and faculty members of the Belarusian State Academy of Music performed a rich program featuring iconic arias and ensembles from Verdi's renowned operas, including La Traviata, Rigoletto, and Un Ballo in Maschera.
The audience enjoyed performances by international competition laureates:
• Li Xiaohan and Ba Jiahui (class of Senior Lecturer I. Loy);
• Irina Loy (soprano);
• The "Amadey" Soloist Ensemble;
• Anastasia Gavrilenko (class of Associate Professor R. Krivel).
The vocalists were accompanied on the piano by Ekaterina Grin, an accompanist at the Department of Singing and Music-Theatrical Art. The project was created and directed by Irina Loy, Senior Lecturer at the academy.
