Central City Library Hosted Classical Vocal Music Concert

On April 22nd, the Central City Library held another concert from the "Silk Road of Melodies" series. The program featured works of global musical heritage, presented by talented young performers.

Within the library's walls, the audience enjoyed masterpieces of romance and opera arias by renowned composers such as M. Glinka, S. Rachmaninoff, P. Tchaikovsky, W. A. Mozart, Ch. Gounod, and G. Verdi.

Students from the Department of Singing and Musical-Theater Arts showcased their skills. Performing for the audience were students from the class of Head of Department O. A. Kosareva: Natalia Gaponenko, Yulia Dyubanova, Elena Mikhinkevich, and Ekaterina Zakhvatoshina. Musical accompaniment was provided by accompanist D. A. Brukhnova.

Also participating in the program were students from the class of Senior Lecturer V. I. Bartkevich: Yu Dian, Zhang Yixiao, Xu Zhiheng, and Lin Jifeng. The piano part was performed by accompanist A. D. Chirova.

The event was part of an educational project aimed at popularizing classical art and supporting talented young people.
