A presentation and discussion of the design concepts of the creative space zone for youth "Student Square" took place on the basis of the Vitebsk State Technological University.
The event was attended by: Glushin Viktor Valerievich, Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee, Panfilov Yury Anatolyevich, Head of the Administration of the Oktyabrsky District of Vitebsk, Kuznetsov Andrey Aleksandrovich, Rector of the Vitebsk State Technological University, Gavrichenko Nikolay Ivanovich, Rector of the Vitebsk Order "Badge of Honor" State Academy of Veterinary Medicine", Boltrushevich Natalya Gennadievna, Vice-Rector for educational and ideological work of the educational institution "Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University", Sergeev Alexander Georgievich, teacher of the design department - head of the design group of Vitebsk State University. P.M. Masherova, Ivanova Olga Vyacheslavovna, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the EE "Vitebsk State Technical College", representatives of the Oktyabrsky District Committee of the NGO BRYU, as well as higher and secondary specialized educational institutions in Vitebsk.
As part of the discussion, the participants of the meeting considered the design concepts presented by the students of Institution of Higher Learning "VSTU", VSU named after P.M. Masherov, Institution of Learning "VGTK", as well as representatives of the Institution of Higher Learning "VGMU", Institution of Higher Learning "VGAVM", Oktyabrsky Regional Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union. The main objective of the presented projects was to create a unique location for organizing recreation, leisure, as well as co-working for students of the city of Vitebsk. The proposed platform for the implementation of the creative space was chosen as the territory of the public garden, located at the intersection of Moskovsky Avenue and Smolenskaya Street. As part of the visualizations presented, planning solutions for the territory were proposed for paving paths, lighting and landscaping, designing park furniture, organizing a free Wi-Fi zone, as well as installing an art object. The implementation of the youth project "Student Square" is planned by June 2023.
