From May 22 to 24, a working visit of the delegation of the Belarusian State Economic University (BSEU) took place in the city of Harbin (People's Republic of China). During the trip, Rector Alexei Vladimirovich Yegorov and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Olga Anatolyevna Morozevich held meetings with the leadership of leading Chinese universities and educational centers, as well as participated in an International Conference.

During the visit, the parties discussed prospects for expanding BSEU's partnership with Chinese universities, developing joint scientific research, academic exchange, and educational programs. Special attention was paid to the training of students in advanced higher education programs in the Russian language, as well as the implementation of joint master's programs in "Finance, Taxation and Credit" and "Accounting, Analysis and Audit."

A significant result of the trip was the signing of a number of cooperation agreements with Harbin University of Commerce and the Institute of Economics and Management of Harbin Institute of Technology, including agreements on joint training of specialists and recruitment cooperation. Also, during a meeting with the leadership of the Harbin International Educational Center "Hongtu," opportunities for attracting foreign applicants to BSEU and further strengthening ties with leading educational and scientific centers of China were discussed.

As part of the International Conference "Data Science: Interdisciplinary Innovations and Digital-Intelligent Development," the Rector of BSEU delivered a report titled "Creating a Unified Educational Space as One of the Main Goals of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization," which helps to strengthen BSEU's position in the international academic community and expand opportunities for implementing joint projects.
