Visit of the Chairman of the Laos-Belarus Friendship Society

On May 10, Ms. Thamma Phetvisai, Vice-President of the Laos Women's Union, Chairman of the Laos-Belarus Friendship Society, visited BSEU.

The Laos-Belarus Friendship Association was established by the decision of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party. Its members include the Vice-President of the Laos Women's Union, Thamma Phetvisai, heads of departments of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, and the Laos Development Bank. Many of them studied at Belarusian universities.Ms. Thamma Phetvisai was no exception, she is a graduate of the BSEU Master's program in Management in 1989.

During the visit, negotiations were held with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Olga Anatolyevna Morozevich. Ms. Thamma Phetvisai expressed hope for strengthening partnership relations between BSEU and Laotian educational institutions. At the end of the visit, Olga Anatolyevna conducted a short tour of the BSEU buildings for the Vice President.
