A delegation from the Higher Engineering School of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University. M.V. Lomonosov visited BSTU

On May 23-24, 2023, the Belarusian State Technological University was visited by a delegation from the Higher Engineering School of Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov represented by Natalya Glavatskikh, Deputy Director of the Higher Engineering School, and Anatoly Lorenz, Associate Professor of the Department of Engineering of Transportation Technological Means and Equipment.
The delegation learned about the material, technical and laboratory facilities of BSTU, the main areas of educational and scientific activities. The guests visited scientific centers, educational and research laboratories of the following departments:
- forest machines, roads and forestry technologies,
- woodworking technologies,
- woodworking machines and tools,
- technology of design of products from wood;
- mechanics and design.
Foreign experts visited the museum of history and education of BSTU, where the dean of the Faculty of Forest Engineering, Materials Science and Design Vladimir Loy presented the scientific developments of the graduating departments of the faculty.
During the meeting with the leadership and staff of BSTU, issues related to participation in joint scientific projects, the implementation of academic mobility, advanced training and other issues of cooperation were discussed. Special attention was paid to the harmonization of summer school programs: "Forest Engineering and Forestry Equipment" and "Energy-Efficient Wooden House Building".
