Key Achievement


Since its foundation, the university has trained and graduated:

- more than 60 thousand highly qualified specialists for the Republic of Belarus;

- over 1500 foreign specialists.

 

The University is the laureate of the Award of the Government of the Republic of Belarus for achievements in the field of quality in 2012, the quality management system of the University meets the requirements of international and national standards.

 

Outstanding graduates of BSATU:

- Taranenko Leonid Arkadjevich –The Olympic champion of 1980, multiple champion of the world, Europe and the USSR. The winner of 19 world records, two of them are registered in the Guinness Book of Records. Merited Master of Sports of the USSR (1980). He was awarded the Orders of Peoples' Friendship and the Labor Red Banner.

 

- Bambiza Ivan Mikhailovich – from 2004 to 2010 – the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus. At present - Deputy Secretary of State - member of the Standing Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.

 

- Marinich Leonid Adamovich – from 2012 to 2018 - First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus. At present - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in Uzbekistan.
