The Belarus State Economic University (BSEU) is the leading higher educational institution of economic profile in the state. In 2023 the Belarus State Economic University will celebrate its 90th anniversary. Over the years, the university has trained about 185 thousand specialists who work not only in the Republic of Belarus but also in many other countries. The infrastructure of the educational and scientific complex of the Belarus State Economic University consists of 12 faculties, 47 departments, the Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of Economic Personnel. Eight English language master's programs are also functioning thanks to which foreign students are taught and trained at the university. The university is one of the three largest universities in Belarus in terms of the number of students: about 14 thousand people study here annually including more than 600 foreign citizens. To ensure that the quality of education stays high the university has an academic staff consisting of about 800 specialists.  The Belarus State Economic University doesn’t stand still - the university leadership is trying to keep up to date to meet the needs of the financial sector and the real economy sector. The Belarus State Economic University is one of the Belarus universities entrusted with the development and implementation of a pilot project to introduce new approaches to the development of educational, scientific and business infrastructure. The model "University 3.0" for the Belarus State Economic University has already been a reality. This model is a combination of educational, scientific and entrepreneurial activities that involve the commercialization of scientific developments. The Belarus State Economic University is actively involved in the implementation of scientific research: 67 doctors of sciences, 396 candidates of sciences work at BSEU. The Belarus State Economic University was certified as a scientific organization in 2007 by the State Committee for Science and Technology and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. There are 10 scientific and pedagogical schools under the guidance of well-known scientists; three journals and a scientific papers collection are published and included in the scientific publications list of the Republic of Belarus for publishing the dissertation research results; 33 student research laboratories are successfully operating. Student Research Center "Business Incubator BSEU" was created in order to support the innovative activity of students, the implementation of the best scientific projects and ideas. The University has bilateral agreements on academic cooperation in the field of education with more than 100 foreign universities and scientific organization from about 30 countries. BSEU is a member of a number of international associations BSEU doesn’t lag behind in the level of training of specialists due to international cooperation. BSEU uses the latest educational technologies, including distance learning programs, the project method, and digital technologies. BSEU earned its place in the top 20% of the world universities according to the international rankings. According to the Ranking Web of Repositories of electronic repositories the university included in the top 100 best repositories in the world and in the top three repositories of Belarusian universities. The BSEU electronic library contains more than 62 thousand documents. The Belarus State Economic University is known and recognized abroad. It is important to note that native speakers give lectures at the university. Despite the fact that the Belarus State Economic University is not a specialized linguistic university, language training is at a very high level. The policy of the university management proceeds from the fact that knowledge of a foreign language is as important for a specialist as the ability to use a computer in the age of development modern technologies.
