Tuition for Russian language courses is calculated per month and is $ 160 per month. The cost of postgraduate studies and scientific internships is calculated individually for each student, depending on the program. The tuition fee does not include the cost of living in a hostel, which is up to $ 50 per month, depending on the volume of services provided (for the use of living quarters and utilities).

The educational institution includes

9 faculties, the Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining of Heads and Specialists of the Transport Complex of the Republic of Belarus, the Scientific Research Institute of Railway Transport , the Railway Testing Center and the certification body .BSUT branches are colleges of railway transport in the cities of Brest , Gomel and Orsha .

Key Achievement

During the annual conference of the Union of Vocational Education "One Belt – One Road" in Guangzhou on December 4, 2020, an Agreement was signed between the Guangzhou Railway Vocational Technical College, the Belarusian State University of Transport, the Guangdong Union for International Scientific and Technical Cooperation with the CIS countries and the CRRC Qiqihar Vehicle Co.Ltd. about creation of the center of testing of the imported equipment of railway transport in the CIS countries.

BSUT's honorary Professor Ph.D.Semenyuta Nikolay Filippovich was awarded with the Medal of Fibonacci for the discovery of the connection between the parameters of a ladder electric circuits with matrices of Fibonacci numbers and the ratio of Cassini, for the discovery of the generalized Binet formula-Serenity.

On August 16, 2019, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Belarus presented Honorary Certificates of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia to Viktor Yakovlevich Negrei, Professor of BSUT, for his active participation in the work in the disaster zone after the devastating Spitak earthquake of 1988.

Professor of BSUT Nevzorova Alla Bronislavovna was awarded the Grishmanov Prize by the decision of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Engineering for many years of work in construction higher education and effective training of specialists for the construction industry.

During the Anniversary XLVI International Exhibition-presentation of scientific, educational, methodological, literary and artistic publications, 3 monographs of the scientists of BSUT were awarded the jubilee award (25 years of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences) with the Socrates Medal (σωκράτησ) with the certificate of the laureate.

By the decision of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Professor of the Department "Architecture and Construction" Alexander Vasilyev was awarded the Honorary title "Founder of the scientific direction".

There are 7 research laboratories, the railway transport testing center and the certification body for railway products and services in BSUT.
