Key Achievement

Belarusian-Russian University is an interstate educational institution of higher education of joint jurisdiction of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation and has the status of state university of both countries.

Nowadays Belarusian-Russian University is the largest regional scientific and educational center, comprising the University, the Lyceum, Architecture and Construction College, Continuing Education and Professional Development Institute.

According to the QS Quacquarelli Symonds agency in EECA (Emerging Europe and Central Asia) University Rankings 2022, the Belarusian-Russian University ranks 4th among the universities of the Republic of Belarus in the ranking of the best institutions of higher education of developing countries in Europe and Central Asia in 2022. In the global regional ranking BRU was included into the TOP 200 and took 186th place.

The university has Technology Transfer Center, Common Use Center equipped with unique research equipment, scientific and research laboratories, including accredited ones, engineering and scientific and practical centers have been opened, existing scientific schools are being developed and new ones are being created.

In recent years new specialties have been opened in Belarusian and Russian educational programs, unique educational and scientific laboratories have been created, and international cooperation has developed. The dynamic development of the university gives the possibility for maintaining leading position in the international educational space.
