Belarus – China: Education Is The Most Effective Framework For Future Relations

On September 5, 2023, BSTU welcomed 15 students from China who are studying at the double degree program jointly run by BSTU and Luoyang Vocational and Technical Institute (Henan province, P.R.C.). The students are doing their university degree in such majors as Automation of Technological Processes and Production and Machines and Apparatus for Chemical Production and Building Materials Enterprises. For the first three years they stayed in their home country whereas BSTU teachers were giving online classes to them. Now they have come to Belarus to finalize their studies during the coming academic year.
The Chinese students had meetings with the University vice-rectors, Dean of Chemical Technology and Engineering Faculty, teachers of degree-awarding departments, Head of International Students Office.
Andrei Sakovich, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs extended to the students his warmest welcome and wished them every success in their academic progress at BSTU. He advised them to make the most of their time in Belarus, delve into Belarusian culture and get the feel of our hospitality. The students were given a University tour and they had a look at the BSTU library, dining halls, laboratories and classrooms. During their visits they had an opportunity to meet their future teachers and supervisors of their graduation projects.
