In October, as part of the “Visiting Professor” program, the Belarusian State Aviation Academy was visited by a representative of the federal state budgetary educational institution of higher education “Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation” - Associate Professor of the Department of Technical Operation of Aircraft and Aircraft Engines Yuri Ivanovich Samuylenkov .

As part of a series of lectures, Yuri Ivanovich told the cadets about current trends in the development of the aviation industry. In particular, much attention was paid to certain aspects of the development of unmanned aircraft systems in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, as well as in the world. The guys learned about the organizational and technical aspects of the design, manufacture and certification of unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as about the power plants that are used on them.

During the visit, a practice-oriented excursion to the Chinese-Belarusian joint closed joint-stock company “Aviation Technologies and Complexes” was organized. Yuri Ivanovich, together with the academy staff and cadets of the specialty “Unmanned Aircraft Systems”, visited one of the most advanced BAC production facilities in Belarus. The tourists were able to get acquainted with the areas of work of the enterprise, its products and technological production processes.
