A delegation from Huaiyin Normal University visited BSU

Vice-Rector Lai Haiyan headed the Chinese representative office. The meeting took place July 10, with the participation of BSU First Vice-Rector Dmitry Kurlovich.

The visit to the leading Belarusian university is motivated by the intention to develop cooperation in education and science. To identify potential areas of collaboration, Dmitry Kurlovich discussed the university's rich history, its structure, its presence in global rankings, and its academic and research activities.

The First Vice-Rector also emphasized BSU's openness to expanding international partnerships in various fields. Currently, the university has approximately 650 agreements with institutions from 59 countries. China accounts for 20% of all active international agreements.

During the talks, Lai Haiyan highlighted BSU's extensive experience in international relations and expressed interest in deepening cooperation between the two universities in physics, chemistry, electronics, and nanomaterials. The parties identified the implementation of joint educational programs, academic mobility, exchange of experience and educational materials, and joint research as priority forms of cooperation.

The Chinese delegation's visit continued with a visit to the Physics Department of BSU. At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to further elaborate on the proposals presented with a view to their further implementation.
