The delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the Russian Federation visited BSU

The delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the Russian Federation visited BSU on 9 November. It was headed by the Attache for Culture and Education Al-Obaidi Nadir Jassim Mohammed. A meeting was held with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Internationalization of Education Konstantin Kozadaev. Also participating in the talks were Deputy Attache Al-Haideri Basim Hassan Hrebit and Deputy Head of the International Relations Department of BSU Vladimir Galynsky.

The guests were introduced to the history, traditions, structure, educational and scientific potential of the Belarusian university.

The parties discussed possible areas of cooperation between BSU and Iraqi universities in the field of science and education. In particular, they discussed academic mobility, the exchange of experience and the preparation of joint scientific publications and educational projects.

In the near future, the announced initiatives will be worked out to determine specific areas of cooperation.

It should be noted that currently 13 citizens from Iraq are studying at BSU. Earlier, BSU carried out cooperation with the University of Babylon and the University of Al-Qadisiyah.
