Cuban delegation visited BNTU "Polytechnic"

September 19, the Delegation of the Republic of Cuba visited the scientific and technological park of BNTU "Polytechnic". There negotiations took place between Belarusian technical universities and universities of the Republic of Cuba. The topic was a discussion of promising areas of cooperation in the fields of education and science.
The meeting was attended by representatives of BNTU, BarSU, BSATU, BrSTU, BSUT, BRU, Pavel Sukhoi Grodno State University and Euphrosyne of Polotsk State University. From the side of the Republic of Cuba, the rector of Guantanamo Bay University, deputy of the National Assembly of People's Power of the Republic of Cuba Osiris Aranda and the rector of the Higher Institute of Mining and Metallurgy Moa Yurisli Valdez Mariño took part in the negotiations.
After visiting the scientific and technological park of BNTU "Polytechnic", negotiations continued in BSUIR. The main topics for discussion were:
▫️ Establishing and developing contacts, searching for prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the field of education and science
▫️ Directions for the development of international cooperation between universities in Belarus and Cuba
▫️ Development of scientific and technological parks
▫️ Training of highly qualified personnel
▫️ Projects for opening improvement centers with possible regional coverage in priority sectors for the economy
The result of negotiations between the rectors of technical universities of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Cuba was the signing of agreements on cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere.
