Foreign Students study the History of the Republic of Belarus
On May 1, the foreign students of the Institute for Advanced Training and Staff Retraining (group No. 3, training course “Russian as a Foreign Language”) visited the Buinich Field. They familiarized themselves with the stages of creation of the memorial, which is the memory of the war years, as well as with the history of the defense of Mogilev from the Nazi invaders.
Then the students went to the Belarusian ethnographic village, where they saw the results of labor of weaver, potter, carpenter, blacksmith and other craftsmen, learned a lot of interesting information about the culture of Belarus of the XIX century, bought souvenirs.
The listeners were especially delighted to visit the zoo, where they could walk along the pedestrian route, enjoy the clean spring air; see both Belarusian and exotic animals.
The excursion gave bright unforgettable impressions and will be remembered by the guests from China for a long time!
The excursion program for foreign students will be continued within the framework of the Summer school of the Russian language.
