On April 8, 2026 a dialogue platform on cooperation between the Department of Education of the Bobruisk City Executive Committee and the Confucius Institute of Mogilev State A.Kuleshov University was held on the basis of Gymnasium No. 1 in Bobruisk. This event was moderated by Elena Lisitsa, head of the department of education. The open dialogue was also attended by directors of the Confucius Institute of our university, Lilia Zaitseva and Wang Xiaomei, workers of the educational and methodological office of the department of education, Chinese language teachers in Bobruisk, leadership and students of Gymnasium No. 1.

The participants of this meeting were provided with information about the Confucius Institute, its opening, main areas of work, as well as organization of educational process.

The main focus of their conversation was on the issues of cooperation between the Department of Education of the Bobruisk City Executive Committee, the Confucius Institute of Mogilev State A.Kuleshov University and other educational establishments of the Bobruisk region in order to meet needs of local residents in learning Chinese language and culture.

At the end of this meeting Wang Xiaomei and Liliya Zaytseva held masterclasses of Chinese tea ceremony and art of paper cutting, jianzhi, for all participants of this meeting.

This meeting is important not only for development of fruitful cooperation in the field of Chinese language and culture studies in the Bobruisk region, but also for implementation by educational establishments of the Mogilev region of the "Strategy for the development and teaching of Chinese in educational establishments of the Republic of Belarus until 2030."
