Kuleshov University celebrates Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is one of the main holidays for Chinese people. It is not just a change of dates, but the launch of new cosmic rhythms, which residents treat with the deepest respect. That is the main reason why they celebrate this holiday on a grand scale.

On the eve of one of the longest holidays for Chinese residents lecturers of the Confucius Institute with an active help of students from the People's Republic of China conducted a variety of master classes under the general title "Chinese New Year." Students of the Confucius Institute, students, university staff, and school students of Mogilev were invited to actively participate in the master classes. Everyone had the opportunity to show their skills in calligraphy with a brush, cutting paper patterns, weaving a Chinese knot, master the technology of making dumplings (jiaozi), as well as show their physical activity in a competitive game.
