Sino-Belarussian association of universities

The 1st Forum of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the People's Republic of China took place in Minsk. The main goal of the event is the development of interuniversity cooperation: joint training of specialists, academic mobility of students and teachers, scientific research.

First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Bakhanovich and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus Xie Xiaoyong addressed the forum participants with welcoming remarks. According to the speakers, this important step marked the start of a new, closer and more fruitful stage of Belarusian-Chinese cooperation in the educational, scientific and innovative spheres.

Within the framework of the forum, the Chinese-Belarusian University Association was created, which included more than 80 Belarusian and Chinese higher education institutions.
The Association will promote bilateral and multilateral inter-university exchanges and interactions, academic exchange events, including joint seminars and forums.
