BSTU had interns from South Kazakhstani University named after M. Auezov

From November 20 to December 21, 2023, internships were organized for doctoral students of the Department of Technology of Inorganic and Petrochemical Production of the South Kazakhstani University named after M. Auezov (Republic of Kazakhstan) Marzhan Nurmukhamedovna Ishanova and Dilbar Abdikhamidovna Urazkeldieva.

During the internship period, colleagues from Kazakhstan became familiar with the areas of educational and research activities of the Department of Technology of Inorganic Substances and General Chemical Technology and its laboratories as well as with the material and technical base and scientific developments of the department.

Ishanova M.N. and Urazkeldieva D.A. took part in the VI International Scientific and Technical Conference "MINSK SCIENTIFIC READINGS-2023", they attended lectures by Professor L.S. Eshchenko on the discipline "Technology of catalysts and adsorbents" and Associate Professor A.F. Minakovsky on the disciplines "Technology of soda products" and "Technology of potassium fertilizers."

During the internship, BSTU employees noted the interns’ dedication and high qualifications. Ishanova M.N. mastered the methodology for determining the sorption capacity of natural sorbents for heavy metal ions from polluted waters, and Urazkeldieva D.A. mastered methods for purifying brines from divalent metal ions and desliming natural salt minerals.
