Culture and Science: Nothing impossible for Sukhoi University

From January 22 to 24, 2025, the 2nd International Scientific and Cultural Forum was held at the Sukhoi State Technical University. This year, it welcomed representatives from 15 countries: Belarus, Yemen, Russia, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Syria, Kazakhstan, China, Lebanon, Turkmenistan, India, Morocco, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

The plenary session was opened by the rector of our university, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Artur Vladimirovich Putyato. The vice-rector for science of the Taiz University (Republic of Yemen) also addressed and wished good luck to all beginners on the difficult but interesting path of scientific research.

The plenary session of the Forum included both interesting reports by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Alla Bronislavovna Nevzorova about the sights of the Gomel region, and creative performances demonstrating real Belarusian and Arabic traditions. Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of Taiz University, Candidate of Technical Sciences Al Kamali Marwan Farhan Saif Hassan spoke about the areas of educational and scientific activities of Taiz University, and the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of Sukhoi University acted as the moderator of the Forum and told the audience about the activities of the association he headed.

Traditionally, after the plenary session, a tasting of Slavic and Arabic dishes prepared by the guests and participants of the Forum took place. In addition, Alla Bronislavovna Nevzorova, Head of the Department of Oil and Gas Development and Hydropneumatic Automation, organized a dialogue platform and a tour of the department's laboratories.

All participants were able to communicate in a relaxed atmosphere, establish new cultural and scientific connections, and also visit the exhibition of our university on January 23, dedicated to the Day of Science.

After the cultural part, a scientific one was also held - in the form of a conference of young scientists, whose best reports were awarded with appropriate diplomas.
