On December 17-18, BSEU hosted a series of lectures given by Maria Igorevna Ermilova, a visiting lecturer and expert from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, relevant ministries of the Russian Federation (the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Development), several major commercial banks, and the Moscow Exchange. She is also an associate professor in the Department of Sustainable Development Finance at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, and holds a PhD in economics. During the lectures, the expert shared her current knowledge on the use of artificial intelligence in finance with our students and faculty. The lecture generated lively interest and a lively discussion.

Furthermore, an official meeting was held with Olga Anatolyevna Morozevich, BSEU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs. Prospects for further cooperation between the universities (BSEU and Plekhanov Russian University of Economics have been fruitfully cooperating since 2014) were discussed, including the possibility of our university's participation as a co-organizer of the International Scientific Forum "Step into the Future: Global Foresight, Artificial Intelligence, and Strategic Leadership."Visits by leading international experts contribute to strengthening international academic ties, providing an opportunity to learn about innovative achievements in various economic fields, and contributing to improving the quality of education.
