A memorandum of understanding signed between BSU and the Federal University of Minas Gerais
The memorandum of understanding was signed between BSU and the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) (Brazil). The document was certified by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Internationalization of Education of BSU Konstantin Kozadaev and the Rector of UFMG Sandra Regina Goulart Almeida.
The memorandum provides for educational and scientific cooperation, the development of academic mobility between partner universities. In particular, the parties plan to cooperate in the preparation of joint educational programs, publications, the implementation of research projects, to hold conferences, seminars, workshops, as well as to exchange students and teachers, educational and scientific materials.
By the way, cooperation between BSU and Brazil currently operates within the framework of an agreement on academic cooperation with the Federal University of Paraiba, signed in 2021. Agreements were also previously concluded with the Universities of Brasilia (2012) and Uberlândia (2014). The Faculty of International Relations cooperates most actively with the Embassy of Brazil in Belarus. Portuguese is taught here, there is an equipped office and a thematic auditorium designed with the support of the Embassy.
The signing ceremony took place today, 15 September, as part of the official visit of the Brazilian delegation headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to Belarus Bernard Jörg Leopold de Garcia Klingl.
