International Essay Contest "Erudite" will be held in BSU
The international essay competition in English “Erudite – 2023” will be held at BSU. This time it is dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation and is aimed at creating a platform for the exchange of opinions of students from different countries, conditions for creative self-realization and improving the level of language training of young people, as well as revealing their spiritual and moral potential.
Students from Belarus, near and far abroad who are studying English as a foreign language at a professional level are invited to participate. Contestants will be asked to speculate on the topic “Future is created by what you do today, not tomorrow”.
Works will be assessed on the level of relevance to the topic, literacy, logical presentation and argumentation, lexical diversity, creativity and originality of the text.
The winners will be named in five categories: “The Best Essay”, “The Language Expert”, “The Most Logical Essay”, “The Most Original Essay”, “The Most Emotional Essay”.
Works can be send until November 30 inclusive by email: essaycontestbsu@mail.ru. The winners will be announced on December 15th. Their names will be posted on the competition’s website. The award ceremony will take place on December 21 at the Faculty of Philology of BSU.

The organizer of the intellectual competition is the Department of English Linguistics, Faculty of Philology, BSU. The English essay competition “Erudite” is being held at BSU for the third time.
