MSLU and International competition

On June 1, 2023, the ceremony of awarding the winners and laureates of the World Competition "Chinese Language Bridge" took place at the Belarusian National Technical University.
The guests of the event were greeted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus Xie Xiaoyun, the First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Bakhanovich Alexander Gennadievich, the rector of the Minsk State Linguistic University Lapteva Natalia Evgenievna and the vice-rector of the Belarusian National Technical University Nikolaychik Yury Aleksandrovich.
Intellectual competition between lovers of the Chinese language for students under 14 this year was held for the 3rd time in the world and for the first time in the Republic of Belarus. Intensive training of students and schoolchildren from all over Belarus has continued since mid-April this year.
Based on the results of two rounds of the Competition, 18 winners and laureates were determined. The winners and laureates of the competition were presented with memorable gifts from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus.
Also at the awards ceremony diplomas "For the best achievements" were given to students and schoolchildren who reached the final. Among them are three students of the Minsk State Linguistic University.
Diplomas "Best Mentor" on stage were awarded to three Chinese teachers, whose wards became the winners of the competition. Among them is the teacher of the Confucius Institute at Minsk State Linguistic University Liu Bao.
Rector of the Minsk State Linguistic University Lapteva Natalya Evgenievna received a diploma "For contribution to the organization of the competition" from the hands of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus Xie Xiaoyong.
Directors of the Confucius Institute at MSLU Sheng Xuemei and Demyanenko Tatyana Andreevna were awarded diplomas for organizing the qualifying round of the XX World Competition "Chinese Language Bridge" among students of the Republic of Belarus.
The winners of the World Contest "Chinese Language Bridge" will represent the Republic of Belarus at the World Contest "Chinese Language Bridge" in China in August. Minsk State Linguistic University congratulates the winners and wishes them good luck in the next stage of the competition!
