International Youth Festival "Peterhof Ball of Cultures"
On December 2, the city of Peterhof hosted the 15th International Youth Festival "Peterhof Ball of Cultures" dedicated to the Year of the Family in the Russian Federation. This annual bright event unites dozens of participants and honored guests thanks to the project manager, director and manager of the ball Elena Vladimirovna Zhigalko and her team. This year the festival turned 15 years old and went international.
The decoration of the Great Hall of the Summer Palace, where the festival is taking place, gave a unique atmosphere. 100 couples waltzed on the parquet, performed medieval and Irish dances, mazurka and polonaise.
Of course, Masherov Students received their magic invitation to the ball. Among the participants were representatives of different faculties of the university: Kolmogortsev Pavel, Gulyai Valeria, Mironov Dmitry, Tsyganenko Arina, Petrovsky Dmitry, Zhukova Arina, Chernukho Ivan, Yaroschenko Anastasia.
On day 2, the university delegation visited the youth club "M-51". A sightseeing tour was held for the students, as well as a round table, during which the participants exchanged experiences in the implementation of youth policy in Belarus and Russia. Particular attention was paid to future plans, social initiatives and cultural projects. At the end of the round table, students received memorable prizes and participant certificates.
Also, the delegation of Belarus and Russia, headed by Dmitry Olegovich Peskov, head of the department of youth policy and interaction with public organizations of the Petrodvorets district administration of St. Petersburg, laid flowers at the stele "City of Military Glory" in Lomonosov on the Day of the Unknown Soldier. At the end of all the events, the students visited the Peterhof State Museum Reserve and were given a sightseeing tour of St. Petersburg.
