12.02.2025 an official meeting was held between the rector of BSEU Egorov Aleksey Vladimirovich and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus Mr. Zhang Wenchuan.

The meeting was attended by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of BSEU Morozevich Olga Anatolyevna, as well as representatives of the Department of Science, Education and Culture of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus Hu Yunbo and Jia Wei.

During the meeting, Aleksey Vladimirovich emphasized the importance of the Embassy's activities in strengthening and expanding cooperation between Belarus and China in the field of education, drew the Ambassador's attention to the key aspects of our university's cooperation with educational organizations in China, thanked the Embassy of the People's Republic of China for its comprehensive support and friendly attitude, outlined the priorities and promising Belarusian-Chinese projects that BSEU is developing. Also, the BSEU management congratulated Mr. Zhang Wenchuan and the staff of the Embassy on the Chinese New Year, wishing them good health, success in their professional activities, peace and prosperity! It is symbolic that the meeting took place on the day of the Chinese Lantern Festival, which marks the end of the New Year celebrations and the imminent arrival of spring. Chinese lanterns represent success and happiness, and we believe that this is exactly what our further cooperation with the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus, with organizations and institutions of this friendly eastern country will be like.
