About 15 BSU developments to be showcased at the Technoprom-2026 international forum

27 August 2026

About 15 BSU developments will be presented at the 13th International Forum of Technological Development "Technoprom-2026." The scientific event will take place from August 26 to 28 in Novosibirsk, Russia. BSU will showcase inventions in the fields of industrial equipment, instrumentation, chemistry, veterinary medicine, medicine, etc.

The BSU exhibits include aluminum alloy metal mirrors. Engineers use diamond turning to manufacture them, delivering high reflectivity across the visible and near-infrared spectrum. These mirrors are recommended for aviation and armored vehicles, as well as for motorcycles and motor vehicles as a replacement for glass external and cabin mirrors.

In addition, visitors will be able to learn about resource-saving equipment for manufacturing polyurethane foam products. These multifunctional robotic systems can be used to create a wide range of polyurethane foam products. The resulting samples are applicable for public utilities, automotive manufacturing, petrochemical production, and the furniture industry. The equipment matches the standard of the best foreign counterparts.

BSU scientists will also showcase "TIGRAD-1," a thermal-foaming polymer composition. It is designed to produce a fire-resistant, flexible material that reduces the fire hazard of various building structures. The composition can take any shape and expands significantly in volume when exposed to heat, creating a fire-resistant, organic-mineral foam structure with high thermal insulation properties.

Another key breakthrough is the development of new functional materials made from recycled resources. These are used to manufacture antistatic polymer floors installed in "cleanrooms" within medical facilities and electronics industries. Additionally, these functional materials have been used to produce bitumen flex—a waterproofing material for repairing roads, bridges, and building foundations, as well as for manufacturing asphalt concrete mixes.

The exhibition will feature "Hemolicaid" hemostatic wipes based on oxidized cellulose. They are capable of stopping capillary, venous, and minor arterial bleeding during everyday injuries and surgical procedures.

The exposition of the leading Belarusian university will also include the anti-tumor drugs "Cisplatcel," "Temodex," and "Prospidelong"; veterinary biological drugs based on animals' own protective proteins (interferons); the antiseptic agent "Phoscelantan," and others.

Notably, the BSU developments will be presented as part of the collective exposition of the Ministry of Education of Belarus.
