About 20 innovative developments of BSU will be presented at the International Exhibition «Energy. Ecology. Energy saving. Electro»
The event will be held within the framework of the Belarusian Energy and Environmental Forum from 17 to 20 October in Minsk (20/2 Pobediteley Ave.).
Among the exhibits of BSU is «A multi-channel system for monitoring the radiation situation at large radiation-hazardous or radiation-sensitive facilities and territories». Today it is installed on the territory of Belarus along the perimeter of the Belarusian nuclear power plant, as well as in the direction of the Smolensk, Chernobyl and Ignalina nuclear power plants. The system allows to record changes in the radiation background in the established territories and promptly transmit information to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring.
Among the developments, visitors will also be able to see light-absorbing composite materials based on transition metal oxides. Ultra-dark tapes surpass the world analog in a number of technical parameters. They have higher corrosion resistance, wear resistance and microhardness, as well as better adhesion to the metal substrate. This coating can be used as a light flux sensor in space instruments and converters of solar energy into electrical energy.
Also among the exhibits will be presented radio-absorbing materials of the KUP series, the electromagnetic wave absorber «TORA», the multifunctional measuring complex «Alma Meter – 2», ultrasonic gas meters, etc.
Information about the innovative developments of the Belarusian university in the field of instrumentation, their competitive advantages, technical characteristics will be available through natural samples, thematic posters and presentations.
