Feedback from a master's degree graduate about the International University "MITSO"
Kangal Ekrem Selçuk (a citizen of the Republic of Turkey), a graduate of the 2022 Master's program at MITSO International University, gave an interview dedicated to his studies and the brightest moments of his student life.
What did your university education give to you?
- MITSO helped to broaden my perception of life and my occupation. Before entering the university I have studied in Turkey and England, but Belarussian system of education turned out to be quite novel for me. MITSO gave me all the necessary knowledge for my future career growth and personal development.
Tell us please about your life as a student. Any bright moments of it?
- I remember my first study at MITSO. I was bad in Russian language in those days and could only understand two words: "Hello" and "Good bye". So I’ve started to study the language quite hard and achieved new abilities and could understand people and easily interact with them. Russian language helped me to expand my knowledge about Belarussian culture and this is an important factor on the way of complete adaptation in a foreign country. Moreover, now I have become an official interpreter from Russian into English. I will never forget my first credit. It was quite amazing and terrifying to select cards. It's like a lottery draw. I have never done that before because in Turkey all exams are written and each student gets same questions. Such a system did impress me.
What would you wish the university and its students?
Heartily I would like to wish our university that its professional community shall strengthen every year, regularly replenishing with people carrying creative ideas and spirit. I wish development and prosperity, new outstanding students and graduates. I wish students success in their studies, to realize themselves in their chosen occupation. Be persistent, purposeful and proactive!
