Nirupam Doctor, a member of the Indian Dental Association, a well-known dental surgeon in Mumbai with more than 50 years of experience, a certified specialist in the field of implantology, is one of the guest of the annual forum “Dentistry of Belarus - 2024”, which is held on the 13^th – 15^th of November in Minsk .

On the 11^th of November, Nirupam Doctor, accompanied by the product manager of the republican production unitary enterprise "Academpharm" Daria Artimovskaya, met with the Rector of Belarusian State Medical University, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Sergey Rubnikovich, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor Vasili Roudenok, dean of the Dental Faculty, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Pavel Markautsan.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospective areas of bilateral cooperation in the field of dentistry between Belarusian State Medical University and the Indian Dental Association, whose members include 130 thousand specialists.

According to Nirupam Doctor, during his stay in Minsk he intends to get acquainted with the system of dental care in Belarus and visit specialized healthcare institutions, and then tell Indian dentists about this.

– I hope to find business partners for mutually beneficial cooperation in your country,” the guest noted. – We must help each other, complement each other, taking into account the interests of each participant in the interaction process. I invite you to visit India, where we can (I'm sure) find even more common ground.

As Sergey Rubnikovich emphasized, “the level of dental care provided to the citizens of the Republic of Belarus (regardless of their territorial affiliation) is very high. Domestic specialists use modern methods of diagnostics and treatment of patients (including those with congenital pathologies), digital technologies, and the latest materials and equipment. At the same time, we are looking for the ways to improve dental services”.

According to the Rector of BSMU, “we could cooperate in terms of academic exchange, giving lectures, holding joint conferences, seminars and in other fields”.

After the traditional exchange of souvenirs and photography at the end of the meeting, there was organized excursions for Nirupam Doctor to the anatomical museum and the Republican Center for Professional Certification and Simulation Training of Medical and Pharmaceutical Workers.

On the 13^th of November, Nirupam Doctor will give the report on actual problems of surgical dentistry at the Forum “Dentistry of Belarus – 2024”.
