This issue was considered during a visit to this country by the First Vice-Rector of BSU, Dzmitry Kurlovich, as part of the Belarusian delegation headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country, Maxim Ryzhenkov. The official visit took place from January 8 to 10.

One of the key events of the visit was the holding of a Belarusian-Myanmar business meeting in Yangon, with the participation of approximately 90 representatives from businesses and government bodies of the two countries. A series of negotiations took place. Among them was a meeting of Dzmitry Kurlovich with the Deputy Minister of Education of Myanmar, Zaw Myint.

Also, representatives of Mandalay University of Foreign Languages, the University of Yangon, and the University of Mandalay became participants of it. The parties reached agreements on the signing of memorandum of cooperation in the fields of education and science in the near future and outlined vectors of interaction in these spheres.
