Proposals for cooperation with Sichuan International Studies University discussed at BSU
Proposals for cooperation with the Sichuan International Studies University (SISU) were discussed today, 13 October, during the official visit of the Chinese delegation to the leading Belarusian university. The participants of the meeting from BSU were the First Vice-Rector of BSU Dzmitry Kurlovich, Director of the Information and Educational Center of BSU in China Wang Yaotian, Deputy Head of the Department of International Relations Vladimir Galynsky, deans of the Faculty of History and the Faculty of Philology Alexander Kohanovsky and Sergey Vazhnik, respectively. The Chinese university was presented by the First Vice-Rector Zhu Chaowei, director of the Institute of the Russian Language Xu Manlin, director of the Library and the Center for the Study of Belarus Yang Jun, director of the Institute of Jurisprudence and Sociology Lin Yigang, etc.
Dzmitry Kurlovich introduced the distinguished guests to the educational, scientific and industrial potential of BSU. In turn, Zhu Chaowei told about the history and modernity of SISU. During the negotiations, the parties discussed possible forms of effective and mutually beneficial partnership in the field of jurisprudence, regional studies, international relations, sociology, linguistics, etc. In particular, they discussed the exchange of students and teachers, the preparation of joint educational and scientific projects and events, the reading of guest lectures, the development of joint educational programs, etc.
The meeting resulted in an agreement on the detailed elaboration of the planned tasks and their reflection in the Roadmap.
