Zimbabwe is interested in expanding cooperation in education
Harare, Zimbabwe, April 15. Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Belarusian National University Y.A. Nikolaychik took part in a meeting between Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Bakhanovich Alexander Gennadyevich and Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, Innovation, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Zimbabwe Frederick Shava.
Prior to the plenary session of the governmental Belarusian-Zimbabwean joint standing commission, the parties conducted an interim assessment of the implementation of the Cooperation Program in Higher Education and University Science. At the same time, the most promising areas for further cooperation were identified.
In addition, representatives of BNTU Y.A. Nikolaychik and specialist of the department of international marketing and work with foreign students A.M. Nogach held a meeting with the head of the company "Ruothy International" Moses Arogo. BNTU has established contractual relations with this consulting company, and interaction is underway.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to further cooperation in organizing the admission and education of Zimbabwean citizens at BNTU, the specialties most in demand on the Zimbabwean education market, as well as the possibility of holding a summer school at BNTU for applicants from Zimbabwe.
