Pupils from Syria touring BSTU

On August 17, 2023, the delegation of the Belarusian State Technological University, consisting of the head of the Department of Chemistry, Technology of Electrochemical Production and Electronic Materials A.A. Chernik and the head of the Department of Physical, Colloidal and Analytical Chemistry I.I. Kurilo, at the invitation of the educational institution "National Children's Health and Education Center Zubrenok”, took an active part in the implementation of the program for the stay of a delegation of schoolchildren from the Syrian Arab Republic in the Republic of Belarus, who undergo rehabilitation at "Zubrenok" at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko.
BSTU scientists held master classes and practical classes in chemistry for schoolchildren of the Syrian Arab Republic, as well as for students of the profile group "Young Chemist" from among the winners and prize-winners of republican and city chemistry Olympiads. During the practical classes, students analyzed complex theoretical issues related to the course of redox and electrochemical processes. A master class took place on solving problems of the International Chemistry Olympiad 2023.
BSTU teachers conducted career guidance work with high school students of the NDC "Zubrenok" summer shift, presented the achievements of BSTU in the field of education and science.
