BNTU scheduled a trip to the National Library for its Zimbabwean students

May 17, students of the Preparatory Department of BNTU from Zimbabwe visited the National Library of the Republic of Belarus together with a specialist from the Faculty of International Cooperation Nogach Anna Mikhailovna. Students partook in the informational and educational event “The National Library as a storehouse of knowledge and the achievement of modern Belarusian architecture”. The event began with a sightseeing tour of the library and students learned about the features of its architectural and artistic design, reading rooms, reference and information function of the library, as well as the book ordering and delivery system. Students took souvenir photographs with interesting landmarks in the background.
Also during the event, students visited the exhibition "In Search of a Living Soul", dedicated to the 215th anniversary of the classic of Russian literature, prose writer, playwright, publicist Nikolai Gogol. They were very interested in the work of the Russian writer and looked at the presented paintings as if charmed.
In addition, students of the preparatory department visited the observation deck of the National Library. The magnificent views of the capital and its surroundings, seen from a height of more than 73 meters, left a vivid impression on the students.
