Joint higher vocational education programme on mechatronics

At the beginning of 2024, Belarusian National Technical University, together with the Xuanhua Vocational College of Science and Technology (People's Republic of China), initiated a joint educational program in the specialty “Mechatronics”.

Mechatronics is a science at the intersection of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science, aimed at the design and production of qualitatively new mechanisms, machines and systems with automated intelligent control. Today, the specialty of a mechatronics engineer is one of the professions of the future, since every year intelligent systems occupy an increasingly important place in people's lives.

In accordance with the agreement signed by the parties, students will study in China for 3 years at the Xuanhua Vocational College of Science and Technology, and after graduation they will continue their studies at BNTU.

Graduates of this joint educational program will receive a diploma of secondary vocational education in China and a diploma of higher education from BNTU.

Participation in the joint program gives students fundamental training based on the experience of two scientific and educational schools, the opportunity to study for two years at the leading technical university of the Republic of Belarus, included in the list of 800 best universities in the world, the opportunity to get acquainted with the culture of another country, and expand their professional network. Training will be provided on a paid contract basis.
