It's sports time for BNTU

On June 25, 2024, a sports event was held at the BNTU stadium with the participation of a deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, a Belarusian track and field athlete, bronze medalist of the 2011 World Championship, silver medalist of the 2019 European Championship, six-time champion of Belarus, international master of sports of the Republic of Belarus (long jump and triple jump) Anastasia Mironchik-Ivanova.

The sports event was attended by provost for Educational Work of BNTU T.V. Matyushinets, as well as more than 50 BNTU students. Anastasia Mironchik-Ivanova conducted a master class on the basics of modern athletics. The Faculty of International Cooperation was represented by:

- Sherif Fouad Mohamed of Egypt;

- Ali Marwan Abdulkareem Farhan Ahmed of Yemen;

- FES master's student, member of the national Wushu team of the People's Republic of China Peng Longye of China.

As part of the master class, students took part in a joint training session with the European vice-champion, tested their functional state and endurance, and chatted with the honored athlete.

Anastasia wished the students health, study successfully for the benefit of their countries and expressed gratitude for the joint training and pleasant communication.
